THE COVER-ALL STORY
When James Coverdale founded Cover-All in 1966, the young CGA saw two opportunities. One was that, at a time when the concepts of “computing” and “data processing” were not well known, he could use the power of computing to help his customers process their data. The second was that, even though data processing was expensive on a per-company basis, he felt his customers could realize significant financial benefits through outsourcing.
Cover-All was built in part on these opportunities and through the ideas and pioneering spirit of James Coverdale.
CELEBRATE THE PAST AND PLAN FOR THE FUTURE
Our 50th anniversary gives us pause to reflect on our past and look to the future.
Since the beginning, we’ve embraced a can-do attitude to build a company of hard-working individuals who share a common goal – to provide the personalized customer service and innovative solutions that you appreciate and have come to expect.
At this time, we also look to the future – to plan our growth by prudently tailoring our services to your needs and to those of our industry.
In 1966, we started with two employees. Cover-All’s dedicated workforce has grown to 200 today, and is one example of how our family-owned company has recorded consistent growth during 50 years of operation. We service customers in industries that include insurance, credit card and financial services, all levels of government, and utility and food services.
We attribute our success to an entrepreneurial way of thinking, sound business acumen, dedication to our customers, and a loyal, hard-working group of employees.
Cover-All has expanded steadily as we’ve acquired companies whose offerings complement our growing supply chain and who perform the services our customers have requested. In a competitive market, we sustain organic growth by delivering dedicated personal service – as promised!
Cover-All’s capabilities fall into two service divisions. Our Business Communications division inducts more than 100 million pieces of mail into the Canadian and American postal systems annually, and also facilitates communication using the latest electronic means. Our Information Technology division manages our customers’ computing environments and information via a fully secure Data Centre providing a wide array of services including hosting, cloud computing, remote-managed services and other professional services.

Cover-All’s continuing success is a testament to the innovative thinking and hard work that my father started the company with, and that we continue to build upon. We look to the future with optimism.
